Replin on the Road: Reflections on Southeast Asia
21st July 2026
Earlier this month, the Replin team embarked on a whirlwind tour of Southeast Asia, meeting with customers and prospects across the region. Between 27th June and 3rd July, International Sales Manager Tom Anderton and Commercial Director Phil Atherton travelled through Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan, showcasing our latest innovations for aircraft interiors.
Below, Tom shares his reflections on the trip and the opportunities emerging across the region’s aviation interiors market.
“During the trip, we visited six airlines and one MRO business. Replin by Hainsworth has built a strong reputation across Southeast Asia, and we received a warm welcome from everyone we met.
“The APAC region is hugely important to both our business and the global aviation interiors market. It accounts for around one-third of global air traffic, and this impressive growth is set to continue.
“A key driver is the region’s expanding middle class, which is fuelling increased demand for air travel alongside high expectations for comfort and service.
“Phil and I introduced customers to our latest collection of fabric designs, which was met with great enthusiasm. The collection is designed to inspire airlines to create distinctive, bespoke fabrics that reflect their brand identity.

“Airlines across this region are renowned for celebrating their cultural heritage through branding, making our luxury custom-designed fabric offering particularly appealing. We’re also seeing growing demand for increasingly sophisticated, personalised designs, and our talented design team is ideally placed to bring such concepts to life.
“We also gave customers an exclusive preview of several upcoming product developments, including a sneak peek into an exciting new launch planned for 2027. The response was extremely positive. As a leader in premium cabin innovation, the APAC market is a natural fit for this exciting new offering.
“Ultimately, we returned home with several new opportunities in the pipeline, and with a sense of excitement about our continued status in the Southeast Asian region.”
