Replin by Hainsworth are pleased to announce our membership of the Green Cabin Alliance, a move which reinforces our commitment to sustainable practices in the aviation industry. This also aligns with the core vision and values of our parent company, AW Hainsworth, which has just published its annual Sustainability Report.
The Green Cabin Alliance is a coalition of aviation businesses committed to reducing the environmental impact of aircraft cabin interiors. The group brings together these like-minded stakeholders to share ideas, collaborate on new initiatives, and jointly act as an advocate for sustainability in aviation.
Our membership announcement coincides with the release of AW Hainsworth’s latest Sustainability Report, which this year marks a major milestone in our environmental journey. The report sets a new benchmark for accountability and transparency, with 2024 established as a new baseline year for emissions, data tracking and sustainability performance across the Hainsworth mill. Alongside our environmental strategy, the report also outlines how the business is championing employee wellbeing and contributing to our local community.
By joining the Green Cabin Alliance, Replin is reaffirming our dedication to more mindful manufacturing processes and to enabling an industry-wide cultural shift in attitudes towards sustainability. Through our participation in the Alliance, we aim to:
- Collaborate with industry peers on developing sustainable fabric solutions
- Share and gain insights into manufacturing best practices
- Advocate for more sustainable manufacturing processes and products in the aviation industry
We invite you to read the latest AW Hainsworth Sustainability Report to learn more about how we’re measuring progress, setting strategy, and championing accountability. Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword at Replin by Hainsworth – it’s at the core of what we do.
